- All students are encouraged to participate in all co-curricular activities.
- Competitions are first held in classes, and the winners of each class then participate in inter-class and inter-school competitions.
Science Exhibition
- Each year students display their science projects in a grand Science Exhibition.
- All students are encouraged to participate and to begin thinking about their projects well in advance.
- Ingenuity, originality and research is the basis of selection for display. The student/s should be able to explain the working of the project and to answer all questions asked by judges.
Field Trips
- Field trips are arranged frequently and are related to topics being taught in the class.
- Parents’ written permission is mandatory before the children are allowed to participate.
- A field trip is an educational outing.
- Students wear full school uniform and take along note book and pencils.
- The students are encouraged to take down interesting information about the place of visit.
- Staff members accompany children on these trips but responsibility can not be taken for accidents beyond control.
Sports
- There are ample opportunities for sports at ASA.
- The school Badminton, Cricket, Basketball, Table Tennis and Athletics teams participate in inter-school competitions every year.
- All students who are interested can participate in the trials.
- Finalists comprise the school teams and also participate in the Annual Sports Day of the school.
- Chess Club enthusiasts meet at regular intervals for inter-class and inter-school competitions.
